Rules of being a WOC that is likable :
1: Stay in the background (Know your place)
2: Be overweight
3: Be funny
4: Be manless or womanless
5: Be a mammy (Cater, care, and cooperate with your superior white friends)
6: When raped, almost raped, murdered, almost murdered, beat, shot, stabbed, drowned, left for dead, robbed of family; SHUT UP! (No one cares, shouldn’t you be soft shoeing somewhere away from the plot?)
If you do not follow these rules, you will be hated, ridiculed, and asked to die repeatedly until you:
A: Comply
B: Die
I.E.: Bonnie (TVD), Tara (TB), Gwen (Merlin), etc…

I’ma put in an honorable mention for Regina Mills/Evil Queen (Once Upon A Time), who in the words of the actress who plays her (Lana Parrilla) is “the only flavor on this show.”
